The Order Processing in Selected Company

This bachelor thesis is focused on the study of order processing in company. Specifically the subject of this analysis is MSV Metal Studénka, a. s., which produces components for trains. Bachelor thesis is devided into three parts, whereas the first part is targeted to theoretical basis. The second part continues with introduction of company and the order process is analyzed. Analysis starts with customer demand and it ends with expedition. In the third part I will suggest changes, which can lead to improve whole order processing in the company.

In this bachelor thesis I deal with analysis and optimization of production line processes in the company Otis a.s., which deals with production of elevators and escalators. The thesis contains a detailed analysis of the current state, where the processes are described, when an anticoincident product is detected. Based on the outcomes of detailed analysis and bottleneck detection, a solution will be recommended to reduce the incidence of anticoincident products.

The Studies During the Engagement to Optimize the Production Process

This thesis deals with commission process in a manufacturing company. The analysis is carried out at the company ŘETĚZY VAMBERK, spol. s r.o. Terms important for understanding the issue are defined in the theoretical part. The analytical part describes the current situation in the company and deficiencies coming out of it. Moreover, there are described procedures leading to the removal of these deficiencies in order to increase effectiveness of the system.

Labour Productivity of a Company

This bachelor thesis deals with increasing labour productivity in a chosen company. The basic elements of productivity were based by Henry Ford who launched the first assembly line which made the production in his company very effective. The increasing productivity is tackled in the manufacturing company Valeo Compressor Europe s.r.o. producing compressors for air conditioning systems used in cars. The objective of the thesis is to suggest the most suitable adjustment of a particular production operation in the company making the whole production process more effective. The suggested adjustments are based on the internal research carried out in the company in order to analyse the way of measuring its productivity and to reveal production efficiency problems negatively influencing the whole production process.
